Welcome to the 48 Hour Film Project Melbourne 2011

The 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP) is a wild and sleepless weekend in which film making teams make a short film in just 48 hours. That means - writing, shooting, editing & scoring it!

Filmmakers have the chance to win some sweet awards. 

The winner will be flown to the US to compete in the international competition Filmapalooza 2012.

There are 44 teams registered, 40 Made it to the Kick Off, 38 Made it to the Drop Off, 34 Made it on time!

We are now screening ALL of the films made at the Palace Kino, on the 4th, 5th and 6th of November from 7:00pm.

The Best 12 in Melbourne will make it to the Awards Night at the Palace Kino on the 11th November from 7:00pm. Book tickets here.
