GENRES
At the Kick Off event (14 Oct) each team leader will draw a genre out of a hat. Your film must be true to the genre you have selected. There is no trading with other teams, but you may combine genres.

1. Anniversary/Birthday - see below
2. Comedy
3. Dark Comedy
4. Detective/Cop
5. Film de Femme
6. Fantasy
7. Horror
8. Mockumentary
9. Musical or Western
10. Period piece
11. Romance
12. Sci Fi
13. Superhero
14. Thriller/Suspense
If you are the lucky team that draws Musical, or Western, you have the choice of making either a Musical or a Western. Or a Musical Western (or even a Western Musical).
If you really don't like your genre, you have the option to trade it in for a Wild Card Genre. Once switched, you can't switch back. Wild Card Genres will be announced on the day. It will be two out of the list mentioned below:
