48HFP will give you the essentials: a genre, a line of dialogue, a prop and a character. The rest is up to you, so let your creative juices flow.

GLOBAL SHORT FILM CHALLENGE TO RAISE ECO AWARENESS IN 48 HOURS

The EcoFilm Fest launches world’s largest eco film focus across the planet, the ‘48 EcoFilm Challenge’.

Filmmakers devote one weekend, make short ‘EcoFilms’ that focus on one ‘EcoTheme’ about our one planet.

EcoTheme in 2013: Sustainable Transport”.

The official ‘48 Hour Time Period’ begins 7.00 pm Friday 24th May, when entrants receive,  by e-mail or SMS, randomly allocated elements - subject, character, prop line of dialogue - to include in their 4-7 min film. Filmmakers write, shoot, edit, produce and begin uploading their EcoFilm by 7.00 pm Sunday 26th.

Judging panel includes Hollywood producer Andrew Sugerman and Ken Stewart.

Friday 19th July the EcoFilm Awards screen finalists at the Riverside Theatres, Parramatta, Australia. $12,500 cash prizes.
